KlayCity is excited to announce an investment from Kucoin Ventures, the full-service accelerator arm of global exchange Kucoin .Kucoin Ventures invests into early stage products, and assists in achieving sustainable growth and success in the decentralized world. As part of the investment, Kucoin Ventures will work closely with the KlayCity team in building and marketing the KlayCity virtual world.
KlayCity is a P2E game based in the year 2080 in a replicated earth. Built on the Klaytn Network, players utilize NFTs, $LAY tokens and $ORB tokens and participate in various activities including scavenging, exploring, and leveling.
Scheduled to launch in Q1 of 2022, KlayCity has previously announced backing from Animoca Brands, Krust, Naver Z, OKEx Blockdream Ventures, Kyros Ventures, A&T Capital and more.
The fresh capital and strategic partners will accelerate the launch of KlayCity’s P2E game, which KlayCity states will set “a new foundation for the next-generation NFT ecosystem.”
KlayCity plans to announce exciting collaborations with renown webtoon authors, short films, and e-novels based on the KlayCity universe over the next few months. Regarding the partnership, KlayCity CEO Jake Choi commented, “Adding the Kucoin brand to our list of backers is a big deal for us.
